Dreams by Ogedengbe Tolulope Impact (April 2018 Publication)

Dreams are the seedlings of realities
Grown from the seeds of thoughts
Planted in the dark soil of the mind
Under the psychic atmosphere of sweetness.

Dreams are the shadows of life
Ghosting around the thoughts realm
Like solemn spirits catching rides
On the lanes of dark k(nights).

This is all shades of beautiful...

Where he said, 'Planted in the dark soil of the mind.'

I thought he'd use 'grey soil' like, grey matter. Because... Mind.

Awesome work still.

Really short poem but Tolulope has basically told us a lot about dreams. Dreams are really the seedlings of realities as stated by the poet and that's a line I'v picked as a quote from this lovely piece.
Love when the poet said "planted in the dark soil of the mind" because that's really where they are until we are brave enough.
To me,this poem is an amazing piece,it's brief and straight to the point.

Dreams.

The very fabric from which realities come to be, constantly separating the "wisher" from the "doer". And all come from the most powerful tool known to and possessed by every man - the Mind.

The last line - the dark "k(nights)". Meaning those that have gone before? The dark knights, I mean. And why are they dark?

Great poem actually. Very descriptive.
