Silver lining

Surprisingly the clouds will fold up
And the sun turn stern cold,

The breeze would cease,
— everything will begin to burn up

Like blue fever
Like a desert

And the heart will begin its perilous journey
Through the blue sea, through the atomic desert

Like Moses with his packs of unbelieving sheeps
Cursed to wander

Surprisingly the clouds unfold again
And there is warmth

And the eyes re-adjusts for a better view
The glimmering smiles blend into each other

And the glamour sinks deep into the skin
Deeper into the bones

Deepest into the soul
And the heart heals up, like a grafted tree

Surprisingly there appears in the clouds a silver lining
A hue wearing the face of hope

This poem makes me understand that no condition is permanent. As much as we want to believe, change is definitely inevitable. The hands of the clock would turn and things would become better again. It is only for a little while.
In the clouds, there is a silver lining.
A hue wearing the face of hope.

I love the use of imageries here.

I can relate this to the pandemic we're currently experiencing, "surprisingly, the cloud will fold up and the surname turn stern cold," this paints a picture of anguish, peril, fear in people's hearts, some become victims of death.

But then, "surprisingly, the cloud unfolds, and there is warmth," this is a tincture of hope that it doesn't end here, there it's gonna be alright.

And "surprisingly, there appears in the cloud a silver lining, a hue wearing the face of hope," wonderful!!! Not everyone can see this, only those with the foresight of hope. Thanks for lending us one here.

This can be related to the situation we are experiencing, trying days of social distancing, self-isolating and quarantines, days rife with fear and anxiety.
Then "surprisingly, there appears in the cloud a silver lining, a hue wearing the face of hope," a measure of joy, reflection and meditation.
Thanks for sharing with us such a poem of hope
