Enmity By Obioha Chibuike Clement

Slowly, we part ways
And with goodbye whispers, stole away;
Then enmity came to stay.

We were subtle,
Guilty of pride, loss of mantle
And treaty that bonded our castle;
Now in peace, we battle
Till in grave, we settle.
